I am wondering whether it is more reasonable to buy a car while I am in Costa Rica, or should I make arrangements to take mine with me. I plan on making several visits, since I can only do it 90 days at a time.
That is fine since my business trips can be a month or two at a time. I am just not sure whether to look for a car there and if so, where do you begin?
are you out of your mind? first most people blow off immigration and stay as long as they want.
second, a car is expensive and a pain. buses are great go going between cities and then you can walk or take a taxi
you'll save mucho buckos and hassles.
the only reason to take your own is if it is a motorhome aka winnibego and you are crazy enough to drive it there.
