Horses, do I take them or do I buy them in Costa Rica

Are there places in Costa Rica that sell horses, or do you just have to find a sign by the side of the road?

I am looking for a couple of good trail horses, as I am moving to Costa Rica, and am deciding whether to take some from the U.S.

Are you check your horse on American Airlines? Get real!

Buy a horse there. Keep in mind when you eat sausage that it just might be horse meat.
