National Hero of Costa Rica

Holidays are marked days celebrated each year a tribute to important events or people which has been very important.

In Costa Rica, the 11th of April is celebrated to commemorate the death of a national hero. It is Juan Santamaria's Day. He was one of the iconic personalities who sacrificed his own life to defend his country from being conquered by American filibuster William Walker.

I wanna take my yellow mobile home down this highway....
