Costa Rica is one of the best tourist destination especially for those you want to relax and recharge, and be away from your busy lives.
But even you want to stay connected, there would some difficulties ahead you. An article from Tico Times say that the major internet infrastructures and ISPs of Costa Rica are always having problems. It's also difficult to search a internet or cyber cafe around because most them comes and closes after a few months.

I live here and have been able to use the net from one end of the country to the other. This includes deep in the Osa Peninsula.
I have a 2 mb connection that is more stable than my BS DSL,Bell South, in Miami.
I'm up in the northern mountains.
