Panama star had resisted the, so far, small evolution of telecommunications industry over there. The officials had come to accept the changes, both technical and administrative, in order to improve telecommunications in Panama. George Miles, a member of the Superintendency Council of Telecommunications, Costa Rica or the SUTEL said that it was positive to learn of the new goings in Panamanian. A three day meeting ensued with the ASEP when a technical delegation from Costa Rica visited Panama. This meeting comprised of members from SUTEL and the Costarican Ministry of Environment, Energy and Telecommunications of Panama, to name a few.
