'Basic Documents Needed When Going to Costa Rica'

Here are some important information for people who decide to enter the territories of Costa Rica (US and Canadian citizens only).

In general, US and Canadian citizens do not need to have a tourist visa to stay in Costa Rica. They may, in fact, stay for 90 days at the most. What travelers only need are passports for at least ninety days, a pre-paid airline ticket to Costa Rica, or proof of financial resources.

[If you arrive without a return ticket and they give you a hassle, purchase a fully refundable return ticket... it will be expensive... then get a refund!] Also if you are in Costa Rica and visit Panama or someplace, purchase a bus ticket to Managua which is cheap so you have something to show when you return to Costa Rica]
