One of the most famous destination Costa Rica are the volcanoes around the country.

All in all, there nine volcanoes in Costa Rica of which three of them are active. But with this figures, there are over 100 craters in the country, making it very popular to tourists.

The best one considered by many is the Arenal Volcano.

I found a link to www.arenal.net at www.buysafecostarica.com . On their blog section they were singing the praises of the tours that are offered through Arenal. Before I get out my checkbook has anyone else had any positive experiences with their tours.

I have been reading more and more about Arenal in the blogophere. I ran across another post at Costa Rica HQ. They mentioned Tabacon, it is going to be a place I will have on my top list while visiting Costa Rica.

With so mnay volcanoes, how safe is Costa Rica. Costa Rica HQ has nothing but good to say about the place but sitting in a restaurant watching Arenal smoke is not going to do much for my digestion!
